Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for elementary school students covering maternity leave assignments in the Anoka, MN area. These contract positions require licensed professionals to support students in need of speech and language interventions within school settings, with opportunities available for virtual work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Adhere to state and district guidelines, including caseload requirements and workload regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Education Certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Candidates must not be Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Virtual candidates should currently hold an active Minnesota license and comply with the 1.0 MN employment law (maximum 40 hours/week).
- Willingness to assume one or more maternity leave caseloads is a plus.
Assignment Details:
- Locations: Elementary schools in Anoka County with virtual options.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Contract Duration: Varies per maternity leave coverage, typically from mid-December through mid-April.
- Caseload openings:
- 12/15 3/23 at .2 virtual (.2 FTE) Brooklyn Center elementary.
- Early or mid-January to early or mid-April at .4 virtual Champlin Park elementary.
- 1/28 3/16 at .2 virtual Blaine elementary.
